Humphrey Ottaru, Coordinator (5/5)

Being part of this panel honestly brought me back to where it all started for me. It reminded me of my journey from university the uncertainty, the curiosity, and the quiet desire to make an impact. And sitting there, engaging with young people, I felt a deep clarity about my purpose again. I realized that what I鈥檓 here to do is simple but powerful: to empower young people with the knowledge they actually need, to guide them with honesty, and to remind them that their path does not have to look like mine or anyone else鈥檚. They have the freedom to do things differently, to define success on their own terms, and that difference is exactly what makes them powerful. This is the moment for them to move, to act, and to believe in their own way of doing things. I left the event feeling energized and hopeful. Huge appreciation to career namimi for creating such a space. We need more of these conversations, more platforms that truly speak to young people because right now, there are so many conflicting narratives, and it鈥檚 easy to get distracted. Spaces like this help bring clarity, direction, and purpose.
